Wild Music -- Captured on Video

Mason, Max and I went back to the NC Museum of Natural Sciences with friends this morning. We happened to get in the way of a local camera crew and ended up as the "folks enjoying that parabolic microphone" in this video:

Max has been drooling a lot lately and putting just about everything in his mouth. Now we know why...




He has two teeth in the bottom front. Ouch!

Food -- The Adventure Begins

Max had his first taste of solid food this morning, delicious rice cereal mixed with formula. He wasn't sure what was going on, but he seemed pleased with the result. (Yes, we know it's not Monday; he doesn't seem to care what day is indicated on his bib.)

I just got Adobe Photoshop Elements and I'm experimenting a little...feeling a bit Warhol-esque this evening. I'm hoping to do more digital scrapbooking as I figure out how this program works. Fun, fun, fun.

Happy 4th of July!

We celebrated Independence Day by attending festivities at the State Capitol. There was music, dancing, Civil War Soldiers, and helicopters. Mason had a great time "driving" the helicopter.
