Busy Fall Days
Now that Fall has officially arrived, we've been busy doing seasonal activities. Last week we went to the NC State Fair, visited a pumpkin farm with Mason's school, and went to another farm as a family. It's finally cool enough to spend more time at the parks, and there have been a variety of street festivals to explore.
Mason discovered the joys of sidewalk chalk, or as Mark calls it "authorized defacement of public property." At the fair, he went on several rides but really loved "driving" the tank, school bus, and 18-wheeler.
Max continues to find out the wonders of food; this week's exciting addition was yogurt. He is sitting up all by himself and practicing standing whenever he gets the opportunity. He crawls expertly, and our living room is now an obstacle course of safety fencing, baby toys and big boy toys. Never a dull moment.
Here are a few photos from the past few weeks... enjoy!
