The Mad Science Files: Making Slime
Another day of bad weather, another science experiment... this afternoon we made slime. Glue, water, food coloring, and a little Borax (this is an old-fashioned kind of soap; I'd never heard of it, but they sell it in Ace Hardware) mixed together and voila! One little mad scientist was pleased with his creation; the other liked to mix the water and Borax but would not touch the final product. The largest of the mad scientists decided that green slime is a good beauty treatment for the nose.
Mason has now asked if we can do science experiments every day... I don't know about that. But if any of you friends and family have suggestions of good (and easy and inexpensive!) experiments for us, we'd love to hear them.
